Way #6

Are you getting hit with more “spam” than ever before on Facebook? Would you like to know a few ways on how to secure yourself from them? Here are 4 easy ways on how you can do that.

4 Ways to Secure Yourself on Facebook

On your browser (this does not work on your iPad), look at your address bar, where you type in a website, check to see if it says “https” in front of http://www.facebook.com. If it dies then you are on a secure connection. If it does NOT, then follow these 4 ways below.

  1. Next to your profile picture at the top right, click the drop down button and click account settings
  2. Click SECURITY on the left window
  3. Find SECURE BROWSING and click edit
  4. Make sure you check the box “Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible

…and that’s it!
